Quidgest Timor is part of a Portuguese-origin multinational technology company founded in 1988, with offices in Lisbon, Dili, Maputo, and Munich, and partnerships across more than 20 countries. The company is a pioneer in applying Artificial Intelligence to software development through its Genio framework, enabling rapid transformation of models into solutions. We have been present in Timor-Leste since 2006, with a team predominantly composed of highly skilled Timorese technicians. Since 2008, Quidgest Timor-Leste has been an independent company operating under a franchise system, registered in Timor.

In January 2019, Quidgest was once again distinguished with the title of “PME Líder” (Leading SME). This prestigious recognition is granted by the Institute of Support to Small and Medium Enterprises and Innovation (IAPMEI) and distinguishes the merit of national SMEs with superior performance. It is awarded in partnership with Turismo de Portugal, a group of partner banks, and Mutual Guarantee Societies, based on the best credit ratings and economic-financial indicators.

In 2006 Quidgest became a member of COTEC SME Innovation Network, which targets are:
