Iso/Iec 27001 – Information Security Management Systems

In a clear commitment to information security and data protection for its customers and partners, Quidgest obtained in October 2017 the ISO 27001 certification, by APCER. Additionally, it reinforced the credibility for the execution and provision of management solutions that facilitate compliance with the new directive on personal data protection, GDPR, mandatory since May 2018.
With this certification, Quidgest increases the guarantee of information security before customers, concerning its integrity, privacy and availability, and compliance with all legal, legislative, regulatory, and contractual requirements.

Scope of Certification

Quidgest is an entity certified by the IEC 27001 standard. It has as the scope of certification all its activities: Design, Development, and Automatic Generation of Information Systems and related activities of Consulting, Training, Research, Technical Assistance, and Evolutionary Maintenance.

Np Iso 9001 – Quality Management Systems

In early 2009, Quidgest certified its quality management system according to the NP EN ISO 9001 standard, which has been successively renewed according to the Quality cycle. Awarded by APCER, the certification results from an extended team effort and the continuous willingness to invest in improving services.
The quality policy pursued by management corresponds to the motto “Quidgest, a reference in the production of software. It establishes a strategic objective to obtain and maintain a reputation for quality leadership in the information systems it produces and the complementary services it provides, looking for always achieve and, if possible, exceeding your customers’ expectations.”.

Np Iso 14001 – Environmental Management Systems

In November 2009, Quidgest obtained the Environmental Certification, which represented a fundamental milestone in recognizing the environment and applying best practices. This certification is an integral part of the company’s social responsibility policy and has been successively renewed according to the Quality cycle.
Developing its activity within a culture that promotes sustainable development, preventing pollution, and minimizing environmental impact, Quidgest is committed to complying with all legal requirements applicable to the exercise of its activity and subscribing to needs to improve their environmental performance continuously. It is also committed to supporting initiatives to promote environmental awareness among its employees, customers, and suppliers.

PME Líder

In January 2019, Quidgest was once again distinguished with the title of “PME Líder” (Leading SME). This prestigious recognition is granted by the Institute of Support to Small and Medium Enterprises and Innovation (IAPMEI) and distinguishes the merit of national SMEs with superior performance. It is awarded in partnership with Turismo de Portugal, a group of partner banks, and Mutual Guarantee Societies, based on the best credit ratings and economic-financial indicators.

Cotec Innovation Network

In 2006 Quidgest became a member of COTEC SME Innovation Network, which targets are:

1. Providing public recognition for SMEs that are examples of value creation for the country, for their innovative attitude and activity.
2. Establishing network cooperation for all COTEC Portugal members and SMEs in the Network, in order to share the mutual benefits that they can provide to each other.

Quidgest became a Microsoft Certified Solution Provider since 1999, Microsoft Certified Partner since 2001, and, in 2005, was awarded with the high certification with which Microsoft distinguishes Microsoft based solutions providers: Gold Certified Partner.

In 2014 achieved the Maturity Leven 3 of CMMI, an international good-practices methodology that is a guarantee of development quality and software solutions maintenance.
